Frequently asked questions.

Is SilverCare right for me?

SilverCare is an ideal service for anyone over the age of 65.

Do you take insurance?

Yes! We accept Medicare, United HealthCare as well as other popular commercial insurances to cover the cost of visits, procedures, and all other insurance-covered services. However, non-covered services such as the subscription fee, travel/convenience fees, and VIP ER fees are out-of-pocket.

I already have a concierge primary doctor. Will I still benefit from Silvercare?

Absolutely. While there is overlap between our services and primary care services, having access to the testing and procedural capabilities of an emergency physician during an acute event, as well as access to home visits, is incredibly beneficial.

We partner with several local concierge primary care groups to provide a discount to their members. Ask your doctor if he/she partners with us.

Do you offer A La Carte services for nonsubscribed patients?

Yes. We offer acute care home visits to nonsubscribed patients as well. The convenience fee for these visits is $500 during the daytime and $700 during the nighttime and on weekends. This fee covers travel, transportation of medical equipment, as well as 48 hours of unrestricted phone access to Dr. Mizrachi following your visit.

How much does a subscription cost?

The annual subscription fee is $5000. This covers unlimited access to Dr. Mizrachi and premium service with unlimited home visits, phone accessibility, and care coordination. There are extra fees for weekend and late-night home visits as well as for VIP ER Services. The VIP ER Service is only available to subscribed patients.

I live alone. What happens if I cannot reach my phone to call Silvercare in an emergency?

Falls are common. In fact, 1 in 4 seniors fall every year. In many circumstances, it can be difficult to get up after a fall. We suggest that patients who live alone have Dr. Mizrachi set up as an emergency contact and regularly wear a smart watch with fall detection. Dr. Mizrachi can help you set your watch to call her easily in emergencies. Dr. Mizrachi also offers a complimentary Google Nest to interested subscribed patients. She can set this device up for you in your home so that you can direct a call to her with a simple voice command if you are unable to get to your phone.

If you have any question not mentioned here, please contact Dr. Mizrachi by email or schedule a free call.
